Building a facility for learning
This was once a derelict building now put to good use to help educate the children with modern technology. The library was built in correlation with the new school and dedicated to the memory of Barbara MacDonald.
The purchase of 100 new hand-held tablets also means the children can sit quietly and learn in their own space and time. Encouraging them to be educated gives them a better start in life and wider options for their futures.
